You could also make sloppy joes in the crock pot, here's a recipe that everyone loves:
2 lbs. ground sirloin beef, browned
drain beef and add the following:
2 cans french onion soup
3 TB Worchestshire Sauce
1 TB mustard powder
1/2 Cup ketchup
2/3 Cup mustard
and 2/3 cup brown sugar
mix all and cook in large skillet on medium.
Mixture will cook down to a good consistency.
Add extra of what is needed to taste.
Transfer to crock pot to stay warm.
