Planning a wedding for the spring or summer?  Here are some tips and ideas...

• Use colors in pale yellow, pinks, pale purples, pale blues...
  
  
• Flowers to use: tulips, daffodils, irises, daisies, freesias, apple blossoms, and hydrangeas...  utilize flowers for decorations, pressed flowers for handmade invitations, party favors, and for decorative accents on the wedding cake.  You could also use delicate flowers for the bridesmaid's hair.
  
  
• Consider a nice backyard for a wedding location.  Rent a gazebo and decorate with a light and flow-y material, such as, organza or tulle in a pale color...add fresh flower garlands and white lights (for when the sun goes down)...
  
• Fill large galvanized steel tubs with ice and bottled beverages...
  
• Fill tiny grapevine bird's nests with white Jordan Almonds and place at each setting.  Place a bulb (such as a crocus) that is blooming in a single bud vase with water at each setting...
