Decorate in either a retro theme or Haunted theme or combine both!
Colors to coordinate: lime green, orange, purple, and dark blue
Cut out 3 dogbone shapes from posterboard or cardstock. Write clues on each of the bones as follows:
Clue #1: Join the gang to search for clues, Don't forget to check the shoes!
Clue #2: Zoinks! Is that a ghost beneath the table? Check it out if you are able!
Clue #3: Jinkies! Get up off the floor and go to see who's at the door!
Prior to the party: SETUP: Place a pair of shoes near front door area. Insert the first clue. Next, place the 2nd clue under the table.
Ask a friend to dress as a monster or ghost (not too scary) to be outside the front door/bathroom door, etc.. holding a bowl of Scooby Snacks.
When the children are in the middle of reading the first clue, have the "monster" knock at the door. When the children go to see, they will find the missing Scooby Snacks and unmask the culprit! Ask the friend to say "If it weren't for you meddling kids!"
- Serve Scooby Snacks (of course), Like, yum, Pepperoni Pizza , and soda.
- Hand out favor bags with Scooby stickers, temporary tattoos, dogbone candy, bubbles, gummy hamburgers...
