Form an easy obstacle course (based on kid's ages)
Set up a craft table for "agents" to create their own ID badges. Provide them with business card sized cardstock. If available, use an instant camera for small photos, ie: Polaroid's izone, so you can add a photo to each ID.

- Decorate with "police investigation/do not cross" caution tape. If you can't find any- make your own, using yellow crepe paper and black marker.
When "agents" arrive, give them each an "alias"... (just a nickname that suits them) and a black fedora hat and shades. Click on the partyware photo above for these supplies from Celebrate Express.
Record the Mission Impossible theme or The Incredibles theme unto a cd to play over and over for the perfect background music. You could also get the Mission Impossible soundtrack on Amazon.com.
For a fun activity: Make 'bombs' that the agents have to gather before they "explode"(not really), and the one who finds the most, wins. Make your "bombs" using the cardboard tissue paper or paper towel holders. Tape a circle with a small hole in the middle to each end. Spray paint black. Add red pipe cleaner to the end for a fuse. Hide many throughout the party area. Tell the "agents" that their mission is to obtain all of the bombs and dispose of into a large box or bucket. The agent who returns the most, wins.
