Father's Day is June 17th this year.
Show dad you care...fire up that grill and invite him over for a BBQ this Father's Day. (Make sure when he compliments you on the grub that you say "You taught me everything I know...")
They say you get to a man's heart through his stomach...so why not feed him his favorite foods to honor him on his special day?
Menu
Steak, chicken or chops on the grill (use Larry's special steak marinade below)
grilled veggies
simple potato salad
apple crisp
Dad's Steak Marinade Recipe
Larry's (my dad's) Steak Marinade
You'll need:
1/4 C peppercorns
1 C Lawry's Mesquite Marinade
2 Pkgs. Adolph's Meat Tenderizer
2 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
2 Cups cold water
Mix well and marinate steak overnight.

- make dad a coupon book, filled with IOU's for mowing the lawn, taking out the trash, walk the dog, and other chores...
- make him breakfast in bed
- treat him like a king all day, serve him his meals, get his slippers and remote...let him watch all of his favorite shows all day...
- take him golfing...
- take him to a game...
- take him to a car show...
- take him to see a movie that he has been wanting to see...
- bake a batch of his favorite cookies and pack them lovingly into a tin...
