"Hola" friends, and welcome to Dora's Fiesta!  Here are some ideas for a "Dora the Explorer" inspired party.

Send "The Map"

Create small maps with a drawing of the party location with party information written in.

Decorate with orange, red, and yellow helium balloons... green 'vines' (bright green streamer) hung from the ceiling in doorways-attach paper butterflies scattered (on the 'vines')...construct palm trees to put in corners of room...festive streamers throughout...and a Dora pinata and Dora tableware.

Menu

Serve hard and soft shelled tacos.  Make up taco meat in a crockpot ahead of time for easy serving.  Serve with lettuce, tomato, onions, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, olives and sour cream.  Serve spanish rice as a side dish.

Find Boots' boots ~ get a pair of small red rubber boots.  Hide the boots and make a treasure map of the party area, complete with 3 locations on the way to find the hidden boots.  

Pin the tail on Swiper ~ just draw and cut out Swiper and tails on posterboard.  

Of course, a Dora pinata !
