Collect Recipe cards! Purchase a package of 3"x4" or 4"x5" sized index cards, or a favorite package of recipe cards. Enclose with each invitation to the shower, with a small note on the invitation to please share your favorite recipe on the card enclosed...
Be sure to advise on the invitation where the bride-to-be is registered.
Have a 'couples' shower
Have a themed shower, ie: kitchen, etc...
Serve light finger-food, such as fruit, veggies and dips. spinach dip and rye bread, cheese and crackers....
Have one or two games, such as bridal shower bingo
Don't forget to purchase thank you cards and hand out a blank envelope for each guest to fill out their name, and address and once collected, have the bride-to-be draw envelopes for prizes.
Purchase small single-use cameras to leave on tables at your reception. You will thank yourself later... It is so nice to develop them and have candids of everyone you love.
