In charge of planning a baby shower?
What fun! As you know, there are many things to do. Here's a checklist to get you started:
1.) Obtain a guest list from mom-to-be, and family members
2.) Determine where and when it will take place
3.) Purchase invitations at least 1 month prior
4.) Send out invitations at least 2 weeks prior, requesting RSVP's 1 week prior (include where mom-to-be is registered if possible)
5.) Decide on games
6.) Decide on a menu
7.) Purchase decorations, plates, cups, napkins, eating utensils, and party favors
8.) Remember to purchase thank you cards so that each guest can fill out the envelope with their name and address-this makes it so much easier on the mom-to-be (later you can draw the envelopes out of a hat for a door prize )
9.) Prizes for the games
10.) Don't forget your camera, film, video camera, etc..
11.) Remember to drive a vehicle that will carry home all of the gifts.
