Ariel and friends  Does your child love Ariel?  Why not host an underwater fantasy party just for her!  Here are some ideas for decorations, a sample menu, activities, and party favors for an Ariel, or Little Mermaid party.  We have also included some great links for everything that you will need for an Ariel party she won't forget! Little Mermaid Basic Kit-N-Kaboodle Kit Pile the party guests into the car for a trip to the beach...Make crowns for them to wear...provide them with buckets or bags to gather the prettiest seashells and rocks on the beach... Enclose shimmering under the sea confetti in your invitation... Transform your party area into an under-the-sea fantasy... Using teal and light blue crepe streamers, tape to ceiling and twist to the floor and tape to the floor to create 'walls' of water...Tape cutouts of starfish, seahorses and other fish to the streamers (as if they are swimming in the water)...scatter teal and blue balloons for the ocean floor... decorate tabletops with teal plastic tablecovers..sprinkle with glitter and confetti...Make a Mermaid cake from Family Fun. Use this as a centerpiece. Here are some other Little Mermaid Cake Ideas: Host a mermaid's treasure hunt!  Create a treasure map and have them follow to find the loot.  Hide a small styrofoam cooler decorated like a treasure chest (cover with aluminum foil and add black and gold construction paper to make straps and lock and key).  Fill with candy necklaces, ring pops, chocolate gold foil coins, and plastic jewels...
